How can I volunteer?

Visit the Member Center section of the website and sign up for an account. Next look at the calendar and if you see something that interests you just click the "sign up" button.  You will receive an email from us confirming your registration for that particular project. You will also receive another email with more specific instructions- directions, specific tasks etc.  It's that easy!

Can I just show up to a project?

No. In order to provide detailed information to our Project Leaders and Agency Partners it is important to know how many people are going to attend the event. Your pre-registration for a project lets us plan ahead so that you, the agency staff and other Hands On Baton Rouge volunteers can have the best experience possible!

Can I bring a friend or family member to a project?

Having accurate information helps us plan and provide the best volunteer experience possible. Therefore we ask that all volunteers register first with Hands On Baton Rouge.
